Campfire's burning........ Burn, burn, burn, burn!!!
Campfire's burning........ Burn, burn, burn, burn!!!
I modify this to become.......
I look in the mirror...... Burnt! Burnt, burnt, burnt!!!
Mjc Vincitore orientation has ended, with lessons starting tomorrow. I've become sorta roasted. (check out the skin colour b/w my upper arm and lower arm. Its like roasted chicken and white chicken)
Orientation was great fun, spent the 1st day doing............. lotsa paperwork. Though I've got to say, their ice-breakin' games to make us know each other better wasn't really successful. Also partly due to the time constraint lah. Went learning the cheers of my house Miranda.(Cool!! love the black colour. Lucky I wasn't in Callisto,Triton or Atlas. I've got no green, blue or yellow shirt. Wait I DO have yellow shirts. VS PE shirts shld fit too) The school song was nice, more of a pop song compared to other JCs. 1st day was mainly spent on learning lah. School song, cheers, erm..... VMV, etc. Went home exhausted. Slept like a log.
Day 2: Nicer day. hmmm what did we do on day 2....... One of the ill effects of not posting regularly..... Oh yes. Went for MMM. Or was it M to the power of 3? Some kinda amazing race around the area in the east. Was quite warm, both the weather and the group mates. Took a bus to tampines for the 1st pit stop, walked to the second in Simei, and took lunch at EastPoint. Guys (means both girls and boys) are quite clever to solve most of the puzzles at each pit stop. eg hangman-- did 2 out of 3 without losing any one man. Pity that led to our incompletion. We were too afraid to use the lifelines. Grrr the english. Dumblebore's name HAD to have 5 words in it.
Haha. I still can't forget what E ling was saying when the grp of us were making our way to the 2nd pit stop. While walking past a playground, she was telling timothy not to look up.(There was a sec sch uniformed girl sitting on the playground, oblivious to her exposure. Not gonna go into specifics) By human instinct, timothy went to look. HAHAHA was damn funny. E ling was sighing, "All the boys the same one. Don't have one decent fellow." timothy was like very awkward. :P
At our 3rd pit stop, we were playing.......... (what name was that game? I can't rmb) I still can't figure out how we managed to guess pikachu. Wasn't much of a help in these guessing games. Maybe my brain was plain lazy and refused to respond. Pits stop 4 was our final stop (cause we ran out of time... AGAIN!) My OG was supposed to cross a distance while squeezing on 3 small pieces of cardboard. Summore have to do cheers on the way.(HATED that callisto MOVE IT one. How the hell were u supposed to maintain ur balance while freeing ur arms) Teamwork was present in my OG, helped each other out. Like when sum1 was saying 'Whoa!!!!' (that naturally means he was gonna fall in the next 3 secs) one of us would be swinging an arm over his chest like a seatbelt. At the end of it, the boys had to (sigh) stay in pumping position for the girls to crawl under for full marks at that station.... Arms were abit tired on the hot ground. Lucky for us, the girls were relatively small + short. Or else sum1 may start playing london bridge is falling down. When we got up, got checked for injuries... LOL fear was like crossing Angela's face (Must have thought my palms were cooked by the ground. Not many know that the soles of my plam and feet were red. Well I just one of the lucky few in every 100,000 babies who get this thing) Thx fer yer concern but i'm really, really alright. Rushed back by bus with 2 minutes to spare.
Day 3: WET GAMES!!! WHOO!!!!
Morning was spent with our beloved principal to test our knowledge of Mj's vision, mission and values. While late morning was spent playing games and getting drenched. Loved battleship. Team 1(my team) had 1 casualty while we destroyed the other team. Another game i enjoyed was capture the flag. teamed up with Larre (Another friendly OGL) for the 3-legged CTF. Good tactic and teamwork made it not much of a challenge. 1st 2 teams were to move as fast as possible to grab the flag (baton) and watch for each other's backs, and to help the flag bearer take bullets (actually they were just waterbombs) so that they would not need to drop the flag. Formed a wall of china as defense while moving back to base.
Stayed in school to wait for the campfire. Didn't have enough time to get home and bathe. Damn the bus. took 20 min to arrive. Lucky I brought extra clothes, which are just enough to cover me on the outside..... Was stuck in the singing group in campfire night. What a chore to sing in the afternoon. Half of me was sleeping while the other half tried my all-time favourite song, We're all in this together (from high school musical). By night, skits from each house was very enjoyable. Lucky i was slept in the afternoon, even though it was partially sleeping. Gave me adequate energy for cheering and dancing. OGLs tried their HARDEST to get us 'high'. Haha and my VS-mates from Miranda 5 were downing swigs after swigs of root beer and cheering their hearts out. They even started leading Miranda to run 1 whole round around the campfire. They were just short of carrying someone on their backs and carrying a flag while running. Lol. The wildness of victorians become little tamer in the presence of girls. :P
Went home early that night after dinner at macs/mac. I still can't see the difference. Reached home at about 11. Well, T'was a well spent 3 days of fun. I wanna try be an OGL in the next orientation.
