Hey yall! Finally decided to revive my super dead blog le! Just chose this blogskin. VV nice! Just that it's for a girl. So nvm bah. temporarily only. Until i find a way to make it a little more mannish. =p

I'll be mostly talking about....... aspirations, plans everything about the future!!!!
K it's not about my sch work, my studies, worry about not make the U etc etc.... it's more of the future. It's like vv scary la! here's a simple example:

Suppose I want to stay in a house worth abt 2.5 to 3 mil next time. (i really really wanna stay in a hse 2.5-3mil la, not suppose one) Assuming downpayment 25%. Means i have to fork out like 750k, while paying the rest by installment. (that's 2.25 mil la) If i decide to pay over a 25 yr period, i can expect a 7.5% interest rate So i have to pay 2.42 mil. That divide by 25 yrs is 96k per annum! Which means i need a mthly salary of more than 8k just to pay for the hse! Plus if i buy the hse when i'm 30, I'll have to pay till i'm 55!!!!!

Sigh scary right?! Ok let's pretend that i take on trust funds and equities. maybe i cash in 100k, 10 yrs down the road, I may juz withdraw 140-150k. not alot eh? (Don't forget there's a risk in playing with the stocks and shares) Works out to be abt earning an extra 5k a yr.... Which could easily be overtaken by Sg's inflation rate. (it's rising to about 3% in 08 guys) Pls la. Put in bank only get 0.125% interest if u are lucky. So in simple words, YOU ARE LOSING MONEY EVERYDAY YOU DON'T SPEND THEM! So what are you doing with cash in your bank account?! take them out to SPLURGE now!!!!

Wahaha! I'm going insane le la! Liddat how to buy a nice hse, raise a good family plus save enough for old age sia.... Muz well buy insurance and go kamikaze!
